Animal Reiki

Reiki is a gentle, holistic, natural, energy healing system which touches on all levels: body, mind, and spirit.  Reiki enhances the body’s natural ability to heal itself through the balancing of energy and bringing in divine energy. It works wherever the recipient needs it most, releasing blocked energies, cleansing the body of toxins and working to create a state of balance. It is believed to have begun in Tibet several thousand years ago and was rediscovered by Dr. Mikao Usui, a Japanese Tibetan monk in the mid 1800’s. Reiki is a Japanese word for ‘universal life energy’ (pronounced ray-key).

            Animals enjoy the soothing, healing energy of Reiki, just the same as people.  Animals respond naturally and intuitively to Reiki to help heal emotional and physical illnesses and injuries. It is also great for stress relief or during periods of transition such as introducing a pet into a new home or even at end-of-life times.

            Reiki is ideal for use with animals because it is gentle, safe and non-invasive and can be a great complement to traditional medicine through enhancing healing and reducing side effects. It helps our pets feel cared for through providing comfort, relief from pain, easing anxiety and promoting health and healing.

Sessions can be held at the studio, in pets’ home or during a real-time distance session. Sessions last 30-45 minutes, $45. Additional charges may apply for off-site sessions. Please contact me for more information.
